Scheduling reports

Reports

You can set up a report to run on a recurring schedule and be delivered by email — useful for regular compliance or inventory snapshots.

Creating a schedule

  1. On a report card, select the calendar button to open Schedule report.
  2. Configure:
    • Schedule name
    • Frequency — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
    • Time — hour and minute
    • Day — of the week (weekly) or of the month (monthly)
    • Email recipients — a comma-separated list
    • Attachment format — CSV, Excel (XLSX), or PDF
    • Active — enable or disable the schedule
  3. Save. JOATOS records the schedule and its next run time.

Note: Schedules can be created and configured now, but automated email delivery is still being finished — the app shows a note to this effect. In the meantime, run and download reports on demand from the report card (see Running a report).

Managing schedules

Schedules can be edited or deleted, and switched active/inactive with the Active toggle.

Notes & tips

  • Choose the format to match the audience — PDF for a tidy read, XLSX or CSV for further analysis.
  • Email delivery relies on your organisation's SMTP configuration once it's live.
