Adding and arranging widgets
Widgets are the tiles that make up a dashboard. Each shows a live slice of your estate and refreshes on its own.
Adding a widget
Turn on Edit mode and select Add Widget, then choose a type. The available widgets include:
| Widget | Shows |
|---|---|
| Device Status | Devices by status (a dial) |
| Server Status | Servers by status |
| Offline Devices | Devices currently down |
| Recent Outages | The latest outages |
| Vulnerabilities | Open findings by severity |
| Critical Vulnerabilities | The newest high/critical CVEs |
| Top Interfaces | Highest-traffic interfaces |
| Server Health | Per-server CPU / RAM / disk |
| Dependency Impact | Live dependency impact |
When the Helpdesk module is on, you also get Tickets by Status, SLA Health, and Top Closers (7 days). You can also add a Diagram widget.
Arranging widgets
In Edit mode:
- Move — drag a widget by its grip handle to a new grid position.
- Resize — drag the corner handle; each widget has a sensible minimum size.
- Remove — remove a widget you no longer want.
Changes save automatically. Select Done to leave Edit mode.
How widgets stay current
Widgets pull fresh data on a regular interval (about every 30 seconds) — there's no manual refresh, and no per-widget configuration beyond choosing the type and sizing it.
Notes & tips
- The widget menu only offers types you have access to — some depend on optional modules being enabled.
- Size the widgets you watch most (like Server Health or Offline Devices) larger so they're readable at a glance.
