Alerts & Notifications
JOATOS's alerting has two halves that work together:
- Alert profiles define what raises an alert — a device going offline, or a metric crossing a threshold.
- Notification profiles define who is told and how — by email, push, Slack, Teams, webhook, a helpdesk ticket, or a task.
You attach one or more notification profiles to an alert profile, and assign the alert profile to the devices, servers, or services it should watch. Every notification that fires is recorded in the alert history.
