Adding a domain
Add your domains so JOATOS can track their registration and expiry and run live DNS and WHOIS checks.
Adding a domain
- Select Domains in the sidebar, then Add domain.
- Fill in the form:
| Field | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Domain name | Yes | e.g. example.com |
| Registrar | No | e.g. GoDaddy |
| Registrar contact | No | Email or phone |
| Registration date | No | |
| Expiry date | No | Drives expiry warnings |
| Auto-renew | No | Records whether renewal is automatic |
| Nameservers | No | Comma- or space-separated |
| Notes | No |
- Save.
The domains list
The list shows each domain with its registrar, expiry (with a colour-coded badge), registration date, and auto-renew status, sorted by soonest expiry. Banners at the top flag domains expiring within 30 and 90 days. Select a domain to open its detail page, where you can run WHOIS and DNS checks.
Notes & tips
- Fill in the expiry date so the warning badges and banners are meaningful — see Certificate and domain expiry alerts.
- Recording the registrar and contact puts renewal details in one place when a domain is about to lapse.
